His list of accolades includes three invitations to cook at the James Beard House in New York. Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRoNA) has named Jasper’s one of the best restaurants in North America for 25 years and USA Today named Jasper’s as one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in America. Author of three cookbooks, one entitled “On the Cannoli Trail,” Jasper is also the Wisconsin Cheese Chef Ambassador. He is a recipe creator for many local and national companies such as Hen House Markets, American Italian Pasta Co., Wisconsin Milk Marketing, Farmland, Plugra Butter, Smart Chicken, and Red Gold tomatoes.
Chef Jasper designed several Italian courses for the Kansas City Bailliage which he and his kitchen team executed perfectly. The restaurant makes all its own pastas and desserts. Each course transported you to a true Italian experience of extraordinary flavors, textures, and tastes complimented by the wines. Chef Jasper amazed us with his Tableside Pasta Cacio e Pepe. Each plate was prepared personally by him and finished from a large wheel of parmesan cheese. The dessert course, a classic Sicilian Cannoli served with limoncello De Sorrento, was an amazing completion to the fabulous dining experience for the Kansas City Chaîne members and their guests.
